It was a skiff family reunion down in Miami, Florida last weekend at the Skiff Generation Grand Prix, a brand new training platform for U.S. high-performance sailing development featuring three skiff classes in one regatta: the 49er, 49er FX, and the 29er. Seven US Sailing Team athletes hit the water on Biscayne Bay for eight races over two days and swept the podium as they started their first real racing in months.

The US Sailing Foundation has announced the nomination of three new members to its Board of Directors. As part of US Sailing’s plan to recruit leaders from the business, philanthropic and sailing communities, the National Governing Body today names Brian Keane, Linda Lindquist-Bishop, and Tom Whidden to the US Sailing Foundation Board of Directors.
The US Sailing Nominating Committee introduced new members of US Sailing’s Board of Directors who were officially elected on Saturday, November 7 at US Sailing’s Annual Meeting held virtually among US Sailing Board members, staff, volunteers, and members of US Sailing. The Annual Meeting was followed by an open virtual Town Hall meeting organized by US Sailing Board members and staff.
