The primary visibility vehicle of US Sailing is the US Sailing Team, comprising our Olympic and elite professional athletes who compete globally on a full-time basis. As the only national governing body for the sport in the United States, US Sailing sanctions national competitive series as well as regional and local events both on and off the water.
