US Sailing Foundation

Planned Giving

US Sailing is grateful to serve so many longstanding members who have supported our organization over many decades.  Often, these members also make additional gifts when they renew and to support our Annual Fund or Programs.
Their loyalty and generosity to US Sailing reflects how important sailing is to their lives, and by giving back, they can share the sailing journey and all the experiences and life lessons they’ve enjoyed.
We’re honored by their decision to support the sport through US Sailing and are committed to leading sailing into a strong and vibrant future. Through the US Sailing Foundation Planned Giving Programs, members and supporters can make a profound impact and leave legacy for that future.

Do I qualify?

The IRA charitable rollover is a terrific way to make a tax-free gift to the US Sailing Foundation and strengthen the future of our sport.  A donation transferred directly from your IRA to the US Sailing Foundation is not considered federally taxable income for you, but it does count toward your required minimum distribution.
