US Sailing offers a variety of courses at both the student and instructor level. To view dates and locations and register for an Instructor or Counselor course please find the desired course on the appropriate calendar as listed below.
US Sailing does not provide student level instruction directly, but rather relies on the nationwide network of Certified instructors and coaches that work at community sailing programs, yacht clubs and commercial centers. Please look at the Where to Sail database to find a location near you if you are seeking to begin sailing. If you are looking for a student level Powerboat course, please visit USPowerboating.com .
US Sailing adult-level membership is required for registration in all instructor/counselor courses except Sailing Counselor. You must use your individual membership to register, not your organizations. Course fees are not refundable except in situations when a course is cancelled due to under-enrollment.
If you have any questions regarding course requirements, eligibility or registration, please contact education@ussailing.org or 401.342.7900
If you are interested in hosting a course at your location, please complete a Host a course request form below.
