The US Sailing Annual Meeting is the opportunity to hear from leadership and announce the results of the directors' election and Sailor Athlete Council appointments. In 2022, five seats on the Board of Directors are open. The general membership will elect three seats from names put forth by the Nominating Committee, the Sailor Athlete Council appoints one sailor athlete and the Nominating Committee appoints an Independent Director.
