USA Olympic Sailing Alumni

Sailing has been one of the Olympic sports since the Games of the I Olympiad held in Athens, Greece, in 1896. The sport made its debut in 1900; with the exception of 1904, it has appeared at every Olympic Games since then. The sport's name was changed from 'Yachting' to 'Sailing' at the Sydney 2000 Games.

On the medal count per country since 1900, the USA places second (after Great Britain) with 60 medals: 19 Gold, 23 Silver, and 18 Bronze.
