Race Management Panel: Important Considerations for Return to Racing
Three leaders in the sailing community will discuss plans and efforts to support a safe return to sailing. The conversation will focus on current planning and practices, navigating the complex relationships with state and local regulatory agencies and landlords, and significant challenges and opportunities for the sport going forward.
Race Management Panel:
• Graham Biehl is Race Director at St. Francis Yacht Club, a two-time Olympian and the co-founder of Clubspot, an online regatta management platform.
• Matt Duggan joined Sail Newport as Regatta Director just weeks before the Volvo Ocean Race boats arrived in the spring of 2018. He was an All-American skipper at Roger Williams University and sails with the Newport Shields fleet.
• Donna Sue Marks is Commodore of the Florida Sailing Association, a member of the Executive Board of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and a Regional Race Officer.
