US Sailing Announces Dates and Location for 2027 National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS)

BRISTOL, R.I. (June 25, 2025) – US Sailing is pleased to announce that the next National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS) will take place January 20–23, 2027, at the Luminary Hotel & Co., Autograph Collection, in Fort Myers, Florida.

The National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS) is the premier event for sailing education in the United States. NSPS is the only conference of its kind that brings together program directors, instructors, volunteers, parents and industry representatives to share and learn best practices with one another about running, maintaining and improving sailing programs. NSPS also provides an unparalleled opportunity for professional development, networking, and collaboration across the sailing community. Our goal is to have participants coming out of the symposium with ideas to apply to their sailing programs, make them better and help them grow.

The 2027 edition promises to continue this tradition, bringing together leaders from across the country to share ideas, gain insights, and strengthen the future of sailing.

While we won’t host a national event in 2026, US Sailing will be hosting a series of regional events during the winter months to continue fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and supporting local sailing communities. Details and registration information for these regional events will be announced soon.

“US Sailing remains committed to empowering sailing programs at every level,” said Andrew Clouston, US Sailing’s Chief Operating Officer. “We’re excited to bring NSPS to Fort Myers in 2027 and to introduce opportunities for regional engagement in the meantime.”
