Jenn Harkness (Seattle, Wash.) – Moderator

  • Avid cruiser and racer in the Pacific Northwest
  • Editor in Chief of Women Who Sail Newsletter

  • Creator of Skipper Jenn, a popular blog on sailing and social justice

Charlotte Kaufman (Mammoth Lakes, Calif.)

  • Founder of Women Who Sail, the largest online community of female sailors

  • Author, of the upcoming book about her sailing story, Rebel Heart

Debbie Huntsman (Phoenix, Ariz.)

  • President, National Women’s Sailing Association
  • US Sailing Certified Instructor, US Coast Guard Auxiliary AUXOP and coxswain (retired), National Safe Boating Council instructor
  • Past Flotilla Commander and District 11S Public Affairs Officer for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary

Marie Rogers (Los Angeles, Calif.)

  • First black female Commodore of the Los Angeles Yacht Club (LAYC) and first African American member in the 118-year history of the club.

  • Developer of the LAYC Community Sailing program
  • Chair of the first ever Inclusive Boating Committee for Southern California Yachting Association

Jeanne Goussev (Bainbridge Island, Wash.)

  • Captain of Team “Sail Like a Girl”
  • 2018 Winner of the Race to Alaska (R2AK). Made history as the first female team and the first monohull to win R2AK.
  • Board of Directors, Northwest Maritime Center
  • Raced with the Boston Sailing Center at NOOD Regattas and the Marblehead to Halifax Race
  • Trained for three years on the 67-foot BT Global Challenge boats
