The US Sailing Championship Committee Chairs made the decision to officially cancel the US Sailing Championships for youth scheduled in 2020 following weeks of collaboration and consultation with championship host clubs around the country.
The team of Jack Parkin, Jacob Rosenberg, Wiley Rogers, Victoria Thompson, and Bram Brakman of the United States earned the Silver Medal at the HARKEN Youth Match Racing World Championship, the highest finish for the U.S. in event history.

The 2020 Youth Match Racing World Championship will be held in Auckland, New Zealand on February 25 through March 1, 2020. US Sailing announces that the selection process for the skipper representing the U.S. will be by resume. Applications must be submitted by Midnight, CT on Nov. 15, 2019.

Cameron Feves (Long Beach, Calif.) and his team representing the Cabrillo Beach Yacht Club won the 2019 U.S. Youth Match Racing Championship for the Rose Cup. Feves and crew, including Lukas Kraak, Justin Zmina, and Taylor Milefchik earned the title on Sunday, following three days of closely contested match racing between 10 teams on San Diego Harbor.

Pearson Potts (Newport, R.I.) won the Prince of Wales Bowl at the 2018 U.S. Match Racing Championship after three days of intense racing this weekend in Chicago. Potts and his all-american crew won the overall Championship this year after claiming the title of National Champions in 2017.
