How to place your First Sail event on the Calendar

The First Sail common calendar is where potential participants are able to find First Sail Experiences listed near the, as well as more information about your organization. Before you begin, make sure you have your organization’s US Sailing Member ID or the constituent ID you were given when you registered your organization.

The PRISM Tool Kit Guide will help you create marketing materials to promote your First Sail Events on the online PRISM platform.

Using the login credentials provided to you for PRISM, you will be able to access your organizations First Sail account information. All of the items you create or upload to this account are only accessible by your organization.

The First Sail Program Handbook will give you all the tools you will need to host a successful First Sail Event.

All of the Steps from registration to promotion and preparation to the sailing experience are cover in the handbook. It will help give you and your “organizational staff” the confidence to make it all happen.

First Sail Certificates of Participation

US Sailing offers a certificate of participation to anyone that takes part in a First Sail Experience.  In order for the student to receive the certificate, you will need to fill out the required information the spreadsheet hyperlink below and email to FirstSail@ussailing.org.
