Bristol, RI (March 11, 2025) — US Sailing is excited to announce its participation in the launch of the United Sports Collective, a strategic partnership uniting five leading National Governing Bodies (NGBs)—USA Cycling, USA Fencing, US Rowing, US Sailing, and US Squash. This collective offers a unique platform for sponsors to connect with over 350,000 engaged athletes and participants across the U.S. while championing the shared values of community, athletic excellence, and inclusion.
The United Sports Collective brings together organizations of similar size and reach, creating a powerful opportunity for sponsors to engage with a diverse, targeted audience across multiple sports. Through this collaboration, sponsors will have the ability to make a meaningful and highly visible impact in communities by aligning with the collective’s values and helping broaden participation in sports.
“US Sailing is proud to join this partnership, which strengthens our efforts to support sailors involved at every level of our sport and introduce our sport to the broadest audience,” said Blaine Pedlow, Senior Vice President at US Sailing. “Together with USA Fencing, US Squash, USA Cycling, and US Rowing, we are working to ensure that sailing, like the other sports in the Collective, is able to invest in initiatives that grow our sport, support our athletes, and best serve our members. This collaboration not only provides exciting opportunities for sponsors but also enables us to broaden our impact nationwide.”
In addition to the valuable sponsorship opportunities, the collective also provides the potential for joint marketing initiatives. By combining their resources and expertise, the NGBs aim to broaden their reach and maximize engagement through cross-promotion, marketing campaigns, and events that resonate with a wide audience.
While US Sailing is excited to be part of this collective, it will continue to independently pursue external partnerships that align with its mission to grow and develop the sport of sailing.
