US Sailing Announces Travel Partnership with Engine

US Sailing announced a new three-year partnership with Engine, a leading travel management booking platform. Through the agreement, Engine will serve as the Official Travel Management Booking Platform of US Sailing through 2028.

The partnership establishes Engine as the exclusive travel booking provider for US Sailing’s organizational hotel accommodations, air travel, meeting spaces, and rental car needs, reinforcing a shared commitment to operational excellence and service for the sailing community nationwide.

“We’re excited to welcome Engine as our Official Travel Management Booking Platform,” said Charlie Enright, US Sailing CEO. “As the National Governing Body for sailing in the United States, we are committed to delivering greater value, efficiency, and support to our athletes, clubs, and members nationwide. This partnership strengthens our operational capabilities while also creating meaningful travel benefits.”

“Engine’s mission is to power connection through simplified travel, and we are proud to bring modern travel infrastructure to organizations with complex, high-stakes logistics needs,” said Alex Melamud, Chief Financial Officer at Engine. “Partnering with US Sailing allows us to streamline their worldwide travel journeys by offering a single source of truth for travel spend and logistics. Whether it’s a coach needing a last-minute hotel or a member traveling to a regatta, Engine provides the scale and reliability required to support the future of American sailing.”

In addition to serving US Sailing’s internal travel needs, Engine will work with US Sailing to extend travel benefits to members, who can access discounted hotel rates by signing up within the US Sailing membership portal. Members will have access to pre-negotiated hotel rates that average 26% savings and a network of 900,000+ hotels.
