The Change is Building – Fall, 2017

An Outward Expression of Inward Change

US Sailing Headquarters is moving. Roger Williams University, top ranked in college sailing, is welcoming US Sailing to their beautiful 140 acre waterfront campus in Bristol, RI and have renovated a stand-alone building for use as our new headquarters.  Our favorable 21-year lease, with options to renew, means we’ll be settled in Bristol for as long as we can imagine.

Our partnership with Roger Williams includes access to their state-of-the-art facilities:  lecture halls, classrooms, new waterfront sailing center.  For the first time, US Sailing can offer training programs at our headquarters, present educational lectures, facilitate research and development in best practices, host regattas and clinics, sponsor sailing camps, and of course, host great events!

The interior space is designed to foster collaboration and strengthen communications across the organization, particularly our core areas of focus:  youth sailing, adult sailing, competitive services, Olympic sailing.  The open floor plan and the meeting spaces are designed with practicality and prudence – yet are smart, fresh and inviting.

This new space provides the opportunity to revolutionize the way we operate on a daily basis.  It’s time to bring our communications platforms, member interface technology, data management capabilities and educational offerings into the digital age:  streamlined, expedient, optimized and user-friendly. A big endeavor that will take time and resources, but essential to our future.

We will be welcoming visitors in the Fall of 2017 and hope to see you then!
