Mike Switzer of South Carolina Public Radio interviews Wayne Burdick, president of Beneteau’s North American Boat Operations in Marion, SC and Windy Key, training communications administrator for US Sailing in Portsmouth, Rhode Island about the implementation of Reach in South Carolina.

Our next two guests have been working to introduce children to the real world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math (known as STEM) and they’re doing it through the sailing industry. In fact, they recently took a group of kids from Marion, SC on a field trip to Charleston to sail with the nationally recognized College of Charleston sailing team.
