TEAM USA READY TO SAIL AT TOKYO 2020

ENOSHIMA, Japan (July 23, 2021) – Nearly half a decade after the previous Olympic sailing regatta concluded in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 13 American athletes in nine classes are ready to race at Tokyo 2020. With Mt. Fuji providing a majestic backdrop to the racecourses off Enoshima, Japan, the US Sailing Team will compete on one of the biggest stages in international sports. Sailing fans watching from the U.S. will be able to experience the racing both live and on replay through NBC Olympics starting at 11:00 PM EDT on July 24 (8:00 PM PDT).

Boucher and Rose Qualify for 2021 U.S. Junior Pan American Team at ILCA North American Championships

Over the past four days, St. Francis Yacht Club played host to the 2021 ILCA North American Championship, sponsored by West Coast Sailing. With 124 competitors racing in three different fleets, the scene on San Francisco Bay’s city front was action-packed and lively across ten races. The Championship also served as a qualifier for the 2021 US Junior Pan American Team, with the top eligible finisher from the ILCA 7 fleet (Leo Boucher) and ILCA 6 fleet (Charlotte Rose) qualifying.
