A Heartbreaking Loss for the Sailing Community

US Sailing is deeply saddened by the tragic accident that occurred on Monday, July 28 near the Miami Yacht Club, resulting in the loss of two young sailors and injuries to others. We extend our most sincere condolences to the families, friends, and all those impacted by this heartbreaking event.

Our thoughts are with the entire Miami sailing community, particularly the sailors, their families, coaches, and dedicated staff involved in the program. We recognize and share the profound grief and pain being felt throughout the sailing world.
