In the fall of 2016, Stephanie Roble and Maggie Shea joined forces to pursue an Olympic campaign in the 49erFX. The pair earned their first World Cup medal together at the 2019 Hempel World Cup Series Genoa and have since climbed the world rankings into the top 5.
After an 11th place finish at the Tokyo 2020 Games, Roble and Shea got back on the campaign trail in pursuit of Paris 2024. They won selection for Team USA once again and finished 10th at their second Olympic Games.
