Andrew Mollerus and Trevor Bornarth teamed up in late summer of 2024 after both came in 2nd place at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in their respective classes- Mollerus in the 49er with Ian MacDiarmid and Bornarth in the 470 with Louisa Nordstrom. They’re chasing Los Angeles 2028 in the Men’s 49er and kicked off their campaign with a strong showing at the 2025 Princess Sofía Regatta in Mallorca, Spain where their 8th place finish qualified them for Tier 1 of the US Sailing Team.
