Ten talented teams began the Round Robin stage on day one of the U.S. Youth Match Racing Championship for the Rose Cup, hosted by Sail Sheboygan and the Sheboygan Yacht Club.

Weather & Conditions
- Teams raced in very light conditions on Lake Michigan for most of the day. There were a number of postponements throughout the afternoon.
- The championship started in 10 knots, but the breezed died down progressively throughout the day.
- The weather featured mostly sunny skies with temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees. Water temperatures were in the mid-50s.
