World Sailing

International Measurement Seminar

Severn Sailing Association – Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Friday, November 18 – Sunday, November 20, 2022

  • Seminar begins at 0800 on Friday-Sunday and ends at 1700 on Sunday
  • Participants sit for the World Sailing IM certification test on Sunday afternoon
  • Participants must be present for the entire seminar

Seminar Fee: $250 US includes course materials, test, lunch Friday-Sunday and Saturday dinner; does not include accommodations.

Seminar materials will be distributed before and at the seminar by the instructors.

 

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a member of their national governing body
  • Applicants must have experience as class measurers

 

Participants should bring:

  • The Equipment Rules of Sailing
  • The Racing Rules of Sailing
  • Writing materials
  • Calculator (optional)

  • The Racing Rules of Sailing (Parts 5, 6 and 7)
  • World Sailing Measurement Manual – be familiar
  • Class rules for the class(es) you work with – be familiar
  • Standard Class Rules
