US Sailing Team Gold Medal Partner Clubs
The Club Partner Program presents an opportunity for sailing clubs and organizations to partner with the US Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Program and its athletes
Introduced during the 2012 Olympic quadrennium, the Olympic Sailing Program’s yacht club partnership is a valuable opportunity for the leading clubs in the United States to directly support the national sailing teams.
The Olympic Sailing Program seeks to partner with clubs that can contribute resources needed to help athletes perform and offers an exciting list of benefits for its partner clubs, which is detailed below.
Every Olympic and Paralympic story has the same opening chapter: the athlete learned to sail at a yacht club or sailing club somewhere in the world. That’s where every Olympic and Paralympic dream begins, and therefore, the Olympic Sailing Program wants to bring the leading clubs in the United States closer together for the final chapter of these athletes’ stories. The local clubs started aspiring Olympians and Paralympians down this path, and the athletes need the clubs’ support for the final steps of their journey.
Outlined below are the various levels of partnership. Please join us on our path toward Olympic and Paralympic Gold.
Gold Medal Partner Club Benefits – level $100,000
- Managing Director and/or US Sailing Team Sperry members attend and support an annual club event as mutually agreed upon
- Team members will attend and participate as “special guests” at a club junior clinic as mutually agreed upon
- An Olympic flag signed by the Games Teams
- Annual gift of a few pieces of US Sailing Team Sperry gear, to be auctioned or used at club’s discretion
- Press release announcing Partner gift; timing at club’s discretion
- Plaque of honor signifying partnership (large size)
- Rights to use exclusive trademark for Gold Medal Yacht Club Partner on website, club stationery, official club brochures or other marketing materials
- Yacht Club burgee will appear on US Sailing Team websites and social networking sites
- Youth Development materials for junior programs
- US Sailing Team Sperry imagery
- “How to Fundraise” support
- Invitation to exclusive events (ex./ Annual Awards dinner, send off party, etc.)
Silver Medal Partner Club Benefits – Level $50,000
- An Olympic flag signed by the Games Teams
- Annual gift of a few pieces of US Sailing Team Sperry gear, to be auctioned or used at club’s discretion
- Press release announcing Partner gift; timing at club’s discretion
- Plaque of honor signifying partnership (medium size)
- Rights to use exclusive trademark for Silver Medal Partner Club on website, club stationery, official club brochures or other marketing materials
- Club burgee will appear on US Sailing Team websites and social networking sites
- Youth Development materials for junior programs
- US Sailing Team Sperry imagery
- “How to Fundraise” support
- Invitation to exclusive events (ex./, Annual Awards dinner, send off party, etc.)
Bronze Medal Partner Club Benefits – Level $25,000
- An Olympic flag signed by the Games Teams
