Anna Weis

Anna Weis learned to sail in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was born and raised. She is a student at Boston University, was also a member of the Women’s Rowing Team before committing to campaign in the Nacra 17 with her skipper, Riley Gibbs.

Weis recently had surgery performed on both arms. She was able to recover quickly and get back to training. Just a couple months after the operation, she and her skipper went on the win the Gold Medal at the Pan American Games Lima 2019.

Gibbs and Weis have demonstrated their success in the Nacra 17 class and har hoping to continue to do so as they work towards representing the country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
