Tokyo 2020 Olympic Team Member
Anna Weis learned to sail in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she was born and raised. She is a student at Boston University and was a member of their women’s rowing team before deferring school to commit to a Nacra 17 Olympic campaign with her skipper, Riley Gibbs. Anna had surgery performed on both arms in early 2019, but was able to recover and return to training. A short time after the operations, Anna and Riley won the Gold Medal at the Pan American Games Lima 2019.
