the conditions? The were pretty much perfect for us. It never got
too windy. It did get light a little bit but I guess it was just our conditions.
It was perfect for us. Anyone you want to thank? Ummm, my Mom for running the
regatta and for putting up with me. Mike for sailing with us, Steve Hunt
and Jeff Boyd for helping us.

you attribute your win?A lot if time and training with Graham and
practicing out in the ocean and just boat speed I guess.... To what do
you attribute your win?It was probable one of the best events
I have ever been in. The food off the water and on the water was great.
San Diego Yacht Club did an awesome job. The race committee got the races
off and got in all the races they wanted. The wind cooperated so....

your win?I was sailing as fast as I could but I made some good
decisions I think and I had fun with it. I have been sailing the boat a
little bit longer than a lot of the other girls How was the organization of the the event? I thought the
event was well organized, races were really fair, th courses were set
well and everything was great. Anyone
you want to thank? Ummm, my family and Bobby and Meg for helping
us before the regatta.

your win?I think that it was our home water that was a big advantage

To what do you attribute your win?A lot of practice with a lot
of good people. I was training with Vince Porter all this week. I had
a lot of good training and it also helped that it was at home. Also, a lot
of pressure being at this club. All the support from the yacht club was
definitely a help. How was the event overall? It was good. I thought it was
well put together on the shore side. There were some minor problems on
the ocean side but ahhh...you can't run a perfect regatta. Pretty well,
pretty well done. Anyone you want to thank? My parents and all the people
who support me at San Diego Yacht Club.

12kts. There were a couple of wipeouts out there. Pretty big waves. What did you do on you off night last night? I sat at home.

Jack... How was your day?My day today was lousy. It
was too windy and I had trouble keeping my boat flat. What did you do on your night off? Last night we went to
the beach and we had a bonfire, roasted marshmallows and went surfing.
What beach? Dog Beach. I had a great time.
What has been the best event at this regatta? This regatta has
been one of the best run regattas I have ever been to. This is a great
venue in terms of wind. It's a great place to sail small boats.

was good.We were more prepared but didn't do what we really
wanted to do.

and had some kelp problems. How are the parties? What parties? No, really San Diego is
really fun. Definitely, the food at this regatta is absolutely amazing. We
are 30lbs too light and we figure by the end of the regatta we will be
10lbs too heavy.
