Youth Racing Events
The pinnacle of US SAILING events run for youth sailors are the:

The singlehanded, doublehanded and triplehanded Junior Championship events are very popular and utilize a ladder style format eliminating teams to 10-20 teams representing geographic "Areas" in the US.

The Junior Women's Championship events are open with no pre-qualification required.  Sailors compete via resume to attend the US Youth Championship (entry deadline April 1).

In addition to the Championships, US SAILING administers a growing program of regional USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festivals that incorporate elements of Learning, Fun and Competition. There are fun activities for entry level sailors, racing clinics and competition in the boats raced by kids in that region.

US SAILING is responsible for selecting US participants for the ISAF World Youth Sailing Championship. Click here for a list of qualifying regattas.
