April 1, 2005 Completed events October 23, 2004 "Get Together" at the Rose City YC; an evening for women sailors co-sponsored with the Oregon Women's Sailing Association. A very successful networking event. February 4, 2005 -16th Annual Women's Sailing Convention (not NWSA) - Corona del Mar, CA. A sell-out event for 350 women. Upcoming events Cruise - Australia July 30 - August in the Whitsundays under the leadership of Capt. Leslie Steinkoenig, of San Diego, CA. June 4 - 4th Women's Sailing Conference at the Corinthian Y.C. Marblehead, MA Speaker: Nancy Erley, the "Offshore Professor". 150 women expected. July 1-8 Instructional week in the San Juan Islands for NWSA members at Tethys Offshore Sailing for Women with Nancy Erley. AdventureSail® programs

Club, August Filling berths in a week long schooner camp in Salem, MA on the schooner FAME. Currently 4 girls at Girls Inc., Lynn, MA. Work in progress A celestial navigation event on a schooner in August. Finalizing two other AdventureSail® programs in upstate New York and a new area in Massachusetts. Continue identifying new sites and partnerships for AdventureSail® programs. Other President Diana Smith resigned from the board to take a position with Offshore Sailing School in Ft. Myers, FL. Vice President Val Cook assumed the presidency on an interim basis. Dr. Julie Teetsov of Menands, NY, joined the board of directors in October. Julie has done extensive cruising in the United States and in the US and British Virgin Islands. A J-24 competitor, Julie volunteers with the Y-Knot sailing program for disabled sailors on Lake George in NY's Adirondack State Park. She has a fondness for classic yachts and interest in the art of celestial navigation. Julie has a Ph.D. in chemistry and is a research scientist at GE's Global Research Center in Albany, NY. NWSA continues to be identified as a source of information and guidance for women sailors. NWSA is 100% volunteer driven. Membership is solid. The
organization is financially in the black. NWSA continues to operate in a
