• Women’s Ocean Racing Sailing Assn (SCYA): www.worsa.org (Orange County, CA) was organized in 1979 and is dedicated to encouraging participation in the sport of sailing by women and men who support the advancement of women in sailing; $50; 1998 became non-profit.

• Women’s Sailing Assn. of Santa Monica Bay (SCYA): www.wsasmb.org; Providing educational opportunities, provide information on racing, cruising activities, supports youth in sailing programs, supports established sailing programs for women and enhance networking in Marina del Rey (CA).

• Minnesota Women’s Sailing Team: www.mwst.org Organized in 1995 to send fully funded team to 1997 Rolex Intl Women's Keelboat Champs; mission has been expanded to promote women’s racing and recreational sailing activities.
