  Play a role in Pontchartrain Yacht Club's reconstruction. Join our working party to spend the day at PYC working on two important projects:
1] renew the fendering and facia to the south-side docks [approx 45 ft long x 4 ft high] 
2] construct a semi-floating pontoon for the south-side dock capable of launching dinghies up to "420" size.

SPORT PHYSIOLOGY MODULE FOR LEVEL 3 COACHES

HYDRATION
What are some symptoms of dehydration?
What is Electrolyte depletion?
How does it affect physical function?
There are many sports drinks available (high in sugar)—How should an athlete choose?

NUTRITION
There are many diets out there today—What is the recommended percentage of fats/carbs and protein for a maintenance diet?
How can you compute how many calories you need to maintain weight with your activity level?
How would you modify your diet to lose weight?
As a coach, how would you identify symptoms of eating disorders?
For weight gain, how would you modify meals?
Pre Event meals?  Is carbo loading still the thing?
Post Workout Recovery Meals.

EXERCISE
Flexibility, Endurance, Strength and Power Training
The difference between Aerobic and Anaerobic exercise.
Considerations when training different populations. 
        12-13 year olds, 14-16 years old, 17-21 etc.
Preventing injuries.
