Notes from the attendees and sponsors:

First off I just want to mention Oakland was a great event; eye opening, educational, refreshing, challenging.  There were so many great contacts and brilliant presentations, it was invaluable to me.
Ivan Andrade
, Fort Collins, CO

Compared to the sailing programs symposia I've attended previously, this Symposium was extraordinarily productive and interesting.  Joni Palmer, you and many others are to be commended for the terrific job of coordination and administration.  I came away with a briefcase full of information and a head full of ideas.  Lots to work with and apply.  Howard Haines, Lake Thunderbird Educational Foundation, Norman, OK

A very good NSPS this year!  Great speakers, great topics, good venue!  Thanks!  Doug Heil, Martha's Vineyard, MA

The Symposium was great. I am glad I went and am planning to go again and bring several more with me. Thanks for everything!!!  Charles Ivey, US SAILING Board and US Windsurfing Coach, Abilene, TX

Congratulations the staff at US SAILING, the presenters, and sponsors for hosting a fine symposium.  For a 'first-timer' I was indeed pleased with the breakout sessions and the opportunities to discuss our issues, goals, and programs with others that have been there and done that.  Regards, and again congrats for a job well done...please pass on my congrats to all involved.  Les Cummings, Lake Thunderbird Boathouse, Norman, OK

Thanks so very much for the Symposium.  It was great to meet all of you and I had an absolute blast, despite the info overload ;-} !  See you in Miami! Martin McDonough, Center for Wooden Boats, Palo Alto, CA

The Symposium was an incredible success and I cannot think of a better place for us to have started off in the public eye. It was hard to calculate but I believe we talked to over one hundred of the participants. An overwhelming majority was quite interested in our services and I believe we now have a great foundation to build relationships with a lot of these organizations. On many different levels the 2004 NSPS was truly a huge success for Mudbug.  Alan Paul, President Mudbug LLC, Mobile, AL

Meet Matt McDonell, you may remember him from the Registration Desk! Matt volunteered his time to help with registration every day of the event!  Our hats are off to you Matt!  Thanks!
