One of her favorite undertakings is promoting one-design sailing by co-chairing the One Design-Sailing Symposium. She’s also focused on membership. She chaired the One-Design Class Council and Inshore Committee.

Words from our Secretary

US Sailing provides a sound structure for sailboat racing in this country. I believe US Sailing should develop more meaningful partnerships with yacht clubs and sailing organizations. Together we will accomplish more in terms of growth, participation, and teaching new sailors. Additionally, US Sailing must build a stronger relationship with the thousands of volunteers who make racing and sail training possible.

Moving forward, I envision US Sailing making steadfast communication improvements. We will better explain what we do, implement services and programs that serve the sailing community desires, and sail to the windward mark as one solid team.
