The US Sailing’s Speaker Series Program is a traveling lecture series that brings speakers within the sailing industry to clubs and sailing centers around the country. This is a great opportunity to have some of the most influential sailors present to your members.
US Sailing will connect with the speaker of your choice and take the lead in managing all logistics of the event. We will also provide you with program and sponsor banners, along with some promotional items, and help promote the event.
Old Pulteney is a proud sponsor of the Speaker Series Program and will host a Scotch tasting at your Speaker Series event. Other sponsors such as Gowrie Group and Hobie Polarized may provide door prizes for your event.
The 2014 US Sailing Speaker Series presenters include Gary Jobson (1977 Americas Cup Champion and ESPN’s sailing commentator), Dave Perry (author of “Understanding the Racing Rules of Sailing”), Rich Wilson (American Vendee Globe competitor), Peter Reggio (Master PRO and Race Official), Maureen McKinnon (2008 Paralympics Gold Medalist) and many others. These speakers bring an entertaining presentation to your club that your members will truly enjoy.
If you have a specific speaker in mind or a topic to speak on, please let us know and we will do our best to get a speaker that fits your club’s needs.
If you are interested in hosting an event or if you have questions about the program, please contact Josh Toso, Marketing Manager, at JoshToso@USSailing.org.
