US SAILING’S 2005 ROLEX INTERNATIONAL
WOMEN’S KEELBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP
Deadline for $100 Entry Discount Approaches

Annapolis, Md. (July 12, 2005) – Less than one month remains until the “early” deadline for entries into US SAILING’S Rolex International Women’s Keelboat Championship (Rolex IWKC), to be hosted by the Annapolis Yacht Club from September 19-23, 2005. Teams that enter the regatta by August 12 will benefit from a US$100 discount off the US$575 entry fee, which includes six evenings of social events. The final entry deadline is September 2. Regarded as one of the world’s pinnacle events for women sailors, the biennial Rolex IWKC, now in its 11th year, attracts over 60 teams to for a week of challenging competition aboard J/22 class sailboats.

Organizers have simplified the registration process by having a dedicated, secure site within the event’s website www.race.annapolisyc.org/2005rolex. Additional information on housing, boat charters, social activities and travel to/from Annapolis is listed.

Rolex IWKC is part of US SAILING's national championship series and the website www.ussailing.org/riwkc has the official Notice of Race, event history and news releases. There is a web server list to get direct information by email.
