US SAILING’S 2005 ROLEX INTERNATIONAL
WOMEN’S KEELBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP
Deadline for $100 Entry Discount Approaches
Annapolis, Md. (July 12, 2005) – Less than one month remains until
the “early” deadline for entries into US SAILING’S Rolex International
Women’s Keelboat Championship (Rolex IWKC), to be hosted by the
Annapolis Yacht Club from September 19-23, 2005. Teams that enter the
regatta by August 12 will benefit from a US$100 discount off the US$575
entry fee, which includes six evenings of social events. The final entry
deadline is September 2. Regarded as one of the world’s pinnacle events
for women sailors, the biennial Rolex IWKC, now in its 11th year,
attracts over 60 teams to for a week of challenging competition aboard
J/22 class sailboats.
Organizers have simplified the registration process by having a
dedicated, secure site within the event’s website
www.race.annapolisyc.org/2005rolex.
