The Olympic Sailing
Committee (OSC) of US SAILING, national governing body for the
sport, is looking for 2
volunteer coaches to
support the athletes it will send to the XV Pan American Games,
scheduled for July 13-29, 2007,
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This
event, coordinated by US SAILING and supported by the US Olympic
Committee, is held once every four years. The coaches will work
closely with the Team Leader and the Team Administrator to plan
and prepare the Team for the Games. The events chosen for the
2007 Games are: Laser (men), Laser Radial (women), RS:X (men &
women), Sunfish (Open), Hobie 16 (open), Snipe (open), Lightning (open), and J/24
(open). Selection Trials have already begun, with the
announcement of the team expected in early Spring 2007.

2006. A panel
appointed by the OSC will review the resumes and notify all
applicants by November 22, 2006.
