WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT SO FAR?
Qualifying for the Pan American Games
HOW AND WHEN DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN SAILING?
When I was two or three years old, my parents had a keelboat and would take me out and tie me to the life lines. After a few years of that I got into the optimist at a young age and progressed from there.
WHO HAS BEEN THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON IN YOUR SAILING CAREER AND WHY? Several people have been very influential but the person who stands out the most is Gil Klemens. He has been sailing for probably 70 years and still races to this day and does well.
WHAT IS YOUR TRAINING REGIMEN (on and off the water)?
I sail every chance I get, in any boat I can. It usually consists of sailing 3-4 days a weeks. When I’m not sailing I do a lot of running and weight training.
WHAT OTHER, NON-SAILING INTERESTS DO YOU HAVE?
I love fishing. |
