On May 19, 2004, members of the USA's 2004 Olympic Sailing Team -- 470 Men's crew Kevin Burnham, and Tornado teammates Johnny Lovell and Charlie Ogletree -- participated with other Olympians and Paralympians in ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.  The event was part of the NYC2012 celebrations coinciding with the announcement of New York City as one of five final candidate cities to host the 2012 Summer Olympics.
