Every four years, you read about them or see them on the news: U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes. For the US Sailing Team and US Disabled Sailing Team it's not every four years, but every day. It's about years of incredible focus and unwavering determination: endless hours of practice, late nights repairing equipment, countless sponsorship meetings, months on the road living in wet clothes, missed birthdays, and a personal life on hold to pursue a dream. And for a select few, the reward is enormous: representing the USA at the Olympics. Our sailors work hard to get there. But they don't do it alone. Fellow sailors and fans from across the country stand by them, sweat for them, cry for them, and offer them unconditional support in the face of immense adversity and daunting challenges.
