Class Communication

One of the primary missions of the One-Design Class Council is to facilitate communication among the classes. The ODCC listserv is designed for intra-class communication about common problems and areas of interest. 

For those not familiar with the process, a List Server allows individuals to communicate by email through a central node. Subscription is free. You can chose to receive messages as soon as they are posted or in a batch once a day. Once you have subscribed to the List you will receive all mail sent to the List by other List members. Similarly, any mail you send to the List will be distributed to the other List members. To send a message to the List simply address it to ODCClist@ussailing.org.

If you are an officer of a one-design class, or a one-design sailor who is interested in discussing items of broad interest among the classes, for example issues and problems that are common to several classes, the ODCC encourages you to subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time.

There are few rules and submissions will not be monitored before posting. Please limit your postings to questions and comments about issues of fairly broad general interest to one-design sailors and try to keep them fairly succinct. Critical comments are welcome, but please keep the discourse civil. We will learn as we go with this venture, and we can change the format, and the rules about subscribing, if necessary.
