US SAILING Membership FAQ


Q. What is my US SAILING membership number? How can I get it?
A. To get your membership number e-mailed to you, click here and enter your e-mail address. If your e-mail address is stored in our database, your member number will be e-mailed to you immediately. If you haven?t previously provided your e-mail address, please email the membership team with your request (include your name, town and state).

Q. How do I join or renew membership with US SAILING?
A. To join or renew membership securely online, click here (renewing is quicker if you have your membership number). To renew by phone, call 1-800-US SAIL-1, Ext. 1, Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m., ET (credit card only). You may print out the online application form and mail it, along with your credit card number or check, to: Membership Department, US SAILING, PO Box 1260, Portsmouth, RI 02871, or fax the application (credit card only) to 1-401-683-0840. To have a new or renewal membership form automatically faxed to you (24 hours a day/7 days a week), call 1-888-US SAIL-6 and request document #1306.

Q. What is my membership renewal date?
A. To find your membership renewal date, click here.  Simply enter your membership number. Otherwise, the Membership Department will contact you via mail to let you know when it?s time to renew.

Q. What benefits do I get with my membership?
A. For individual member benefits, click here.

Q. How long will it be before I get my membership packet?
A. You should receive your membership packet, including your new membership card, decals, and West Marine coupon within 3-4 weeks after receipt of your dues.

Q. How do I submit my change of address, phone number, e-mail address, etc.?
A. To update any of your contact information, click here (you will need your membership number).

Q. Where can I buy US SAILING books, clothing and merchandise?
A. Visit our online store.
