About the National Conference
The US Sailing National Conference (formally Annual Meeting) is a unique opportunity for members to meet with the National Governing Body’s leadership and discuss relevant industry topics facing the sport, exchange ideas, reflect on progress, and look ahead to future plans.
The National Conference also focuses on Board and Committee business, progress reports, current issues and planning. Join us as we showcase the value that US Sailing brings to the sport of sailing, to organizations and to sailors.

Advanced Race Management Seminar - Oct 22 & 23
This is an accelerated Advanced Race Management Seminar for race officers who need to renew their certification. A previous Club Race Management course and successful test are minimum prerequisites.

Maritime Treasures Tour at the American Geographical Society Library at UW Milwaukee - Friday Oct 24
US Sailing and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries are excited to offer an opportunity to view the largest collection of rare nautical charts.
As Milwaukee emerges as the nation’s water research hub, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries are excited to share our rich maritime history resources. For that reason, we are pleased to extend an invitation to view the Maritime Treasures at the American Geographical Society Library, North America’s largest map collection in a university setting. We think you will be fascinated by these rare nautical maps and charts.
Come along for this tour and view our maritime treasures – many rare items from our world class collection will be on view, including original maps dating from the time of Columbus, charts by Captain James Cook of the Pacific, and Maury’s original compilations of the ocean pilotage charts and more!
Tour Date: Friday October 24th at 9:30am and 2:30pm
Tour is free and transportation will be provided. Each tour will depart from the front of the hotel and last approximately 2 1/2 hours.
