GENERAL INFORMATION

Registration fee of $25 (member)/$40 (non-member)/fee waived (first-timers). All participants are requested to register as early as possible to assist us in our meeting planning. hotel reservations & Information

You must make your room reservations before March 14th, 2005 directly with the Hyatt Regency Newport reservations department at 401-851-1234 or 800-233-1234. Reserving a room well in advance of the cut-off date is strongly suggested.  Reservations after that date are on a space and rate availability basis.  Room rates are $139 single/double plus tax.  Please indicate that you are a US SAILING Association attendee to receive this group rate.  Check in is at 4:00pm / Check out is 11:00am.  We encourage you to book your rooms early.

US SAILING's Room block is only for :

Thursday, March 31st , Friday, April 1st and Sat, April 2nd, 2005.

Those of you who wish to stay any additional nights prior to or post meeting will be subject to standard hotel rates.

Hyatt Regency on Goat Island offers valet parking at a discounted rate of $18 per day.  Self parking is available at a rate of $13 for overnight and $10 for event day parking.  Please see shuttle information located under Social Events.

There is no fee for the exercise facility located outside of the Stillwater Spa.  Use of spa facilities, open 7 days a week, are $8 per day or $12 per stay.

AIRPORT transportation

Cozy Cab provides shuttle transportation to and from the T. F. Green Airport, located in Warwick/Providence, RI.

Please be sure to make reservations. One way fare is $20. Distance is approximately 25 miles each way.  If you do not make a reservation in advance, please note that Cozy Cap is operating on their winter schedule, which can be viewed by clicking on the below link

US SAILING's ICE BREAKER -   
We are excited to announce that Gowrie, Barden & Brett is graciously hosting an open bar reception at  Newport's Ocean Cliff Hotel on Friday, April 1st, 2005 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.  Charter coaches will transport attendees to and from Ocean Cliff with an additional drop-off at Bowen's Wharf , the heart of Newport's fine restaurants , on the return form Ocean Cliff.

The Hyatt provides complimentary shuttles to and from Bowen's Wharf. The shuttles generally run on the hour and half hour. Friday and Saturday , it runs from 4:00pm - 12:00am. During the day, it runs on request. You will need to inform the Hyatt in advance to request pick - up/drop-off service.

US SAILING's DINNER AND AWARDS

Please join us for an exciting evening of dinner and awards on April 2, 2005.    Hors d'oeuvres will be generously provided by Narragansett Bay Yachting Association.

Please specify your dinner selections when completing your online registration.

Pistachio Dusted Atlantic Salmon served with Oven Roasted Jumbo Asparagus,

Saffron Potatoes and Sugar Roasted Cipollini Onions with Three Citrus Sauce

OR

Pepper-rubbed Grilled Sirloin Steak with a Caramelized Shallot Marmalade served with

King Oyster Mushrooms, Blue Cheese Stuffed Tomato, Asparagus and

Lemon -Thyme Roasted Fingerling Potatoes

Dinner is $45 per person.  Please make dinner reservations before March 29th to avoid additional $5  fee.
