RULES SEMINAR ANNOUNCEMENT
Rules Seminar Scheduled To Explain Rules Changes
US SAILING has organized a special seminar on the significant changes in the racing rules that apply at marks and obstructions that will take effect January 1, 2009 when The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012 will begin to apply. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at St. Petersburg Yacht Club, FL, at 7:00 p.m., the evening before the start of the US SAILING Annual Meeting. Speakers will be Dick Rose and Rob Overton, two members of the US SAILING Racing Rules Committee who served on the International Sailing Federation's working party that drafted the new rules for marks and obstructions.
Attendees are asked to pre-register online however the event is free of charge.
