A SPECIAL PREVIEW OF THE 'MORNING LIGHT' MOVIE

SOLD OUT

US SAILING, along with Roy E. Disney and Pacific High Productions, have organized a special preview of scenes from the yet-to-be-released movie "Morning Light" on March 14 at 6 p.m. at the Jane Pickens Theater in Newport, R.I. The preview is held in conjunction with US SAILING's Spring Meeting, held March 13-16 in Newport, R.I.

"Morning Light" - scheduled to be released later this year - chronicles one of the youngest crew  ever to compete in the Transpacific Yacht Race to Hawaii. Roy E. Disney combined his love for sailing and film to come up with the idea for the movie, which highlights the recruitment and training of the young crew, culminating in showing the team race in the famous Transpac Race.

In addition to Roy E. Disney, the film's co-producer Leslie DeMeuse and several young members of the crew will be in attendance at the special preview in Newport.  The event will include select clips from the movie as well as discussion with the production team and members of the crew.
