Daily Event Reports

Day 3 – Tuesday, August 17

Patrick Curran (Riverton Yacht Club) took home the Smythe Trophy as the 2004 winner of the U.S. Junior Singlehanded Championship.  Sean Kelly (San Francisco Yacht Club) who had been in close competition with Curran the entire regatta, took second and Michael Easton (MIT Nautical Association) took third.  Matt Sterett (Corpus Christi Yacht Club) won the Faye Bennet Sportsmanship award.
