Having competed in '93 and '95, five members of this crew will "threepeat" their participation in the Rolex Women's. Skipper Podlich says the team looks forward to the event because "it is intense competition and a milestone for us." In 1995, the team was presented with an award for its outstanding performance in J/24s, when they posted the best season-long record of any boat in the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association. The team's achievement has simmered for two years during preparations for this year's Rolex Women's event. Sponsors H2Optics, Boat/ U.S. and Quantum Sail Design will cheer for this crew, as will Sophie (1), Katie (3), and Christian (6 months) -- the team toddlers.
