Oyster Bay, NY. (October 19, 2007) - Twenty-two teams completed the first day of the 2007 U.S. Team Racing Championship in wind which started at 8 knots and ended the day with rain and gusts to 22 knots. During the first half of the day all teams competed in a Swiss League Series of 41 races to determine in which league they would compete: Gold, Silver or Bronze.
Friday's racing format qualified teams into gold, silver, and bronze brackets. Saturday's racing will give the competitors a chance to match up against like competition. Sunday will provide the battleground for teams to race quarter, semi's, and finals. At this point in the regatta, every team has a chance to qualify for the finals and win the Championship. Oyster Bay, NY. (October 20, 2007) - Twenty-two teams completed the second day of the 2007 US Team Racing Championship beautiful summer-like weather of 5-10 knot winds and 70-degree sunshine. This was quite a change from the thunderstorms of the previous day. The Seawanhaka race committee completed an amazing 91 races within eight hours. Read the Full Report |

Oyster Bay, NY. (October 20, 2007) - New York Yacht Club Silver Panda wins the 2007 US Team Racing Championship, beating 21 of the best teams in the county. WHishbone captured second place and the Woonsocket Rockets beat San Diego Yacht Club to earn the bronze medal. Racing was close and the conclusion was not settled until NYYC Silver Panda captured the best of three races over WHishbone as the sun was setting over Oyster Bay Harbor in New York.
