U.S. TEAM RACING CHAMPIONSHIP for the GEORGE R. HINMAN TROPHY

Southern Yacht Club hosted a sensational
championship event. Tom Duggan, Rob Overton and Gavin O'Hare led a very
successful Umpire clinic preceding the championship and Dwight LeBlanc and
Corky Potts led 30 Southern Yacht Club volunteers to create the 'best ever'
Hinman, according to competitors. Square courses and square legs marked the
racing success with marks being reset on the box course for five degree
shifts.
Thanks you to all who competed and to the many volunteers who made the
regatta possible.
Next year, we will be at St Francis Yacht
Club in San Francisco.
