Day 1 - Halloween 2003 - Wind was South building from 7 to 12... beautiful day on
the water.
Three races sailed. Courses were
windward-leeward twice around.
Day 2 - Nov. 1, 8:30am - Skipper's
meeting.
Amendment #1 - Two
races scheduled for today - One short buoy race, then the distance race.
Currently there is not a cloud in the sky. Winds are light, 0-2, but
building slowly.
It's another one of those beautiful mornings on the water, if the wind
builds - it would be perfect.
1:00pm - We were in postponement out on the water
due to light winds until now. Currently winds
light at 5-6. Just started the first race
of the day. It is a distance race
- Course #1 with an initial 1.4 mile beat
to windward. Of
course a little more breeze would be welcomed by all - but there is
something to be said about racing in the fall amongst some of the nations
best.
