The beautiful weather that has blessed the 2004 U.S.
Men’s Sailing Championship for the Clifford D. Mallory Cup continued
for the final race sailed today.
Zach Fanberg (New Orleans, LA),
with crew Dave Bouin and Kippy Chamberlain, won the U.S. Men's
Championship for a second consecutive year in impressive fashion with
a win in the final race.
Places shifted again with Jim
Allen (Walled Lake, MI) taking second place and David Peck (Old Lyme,
CT) down to third from second.
National chair, Richard Goodman declared, "The Mallory has been the
best run, the most fun of any regatta I have been involved with. I
can't say enough for the Race Committee, Judges, and volunteers, they
