Day 3–
October 6, 2006
The final races of the round robin were
completed today with Pequot Yacht Club's Dave Perry and his team winning
an impressive 100% of their matches. Perry won the prestigious US
SAILING Prince of Wales Trophy once before when he was sailing for Yale
Corinthian Yacht Club.
Second place after the round robin is Bayview Yacht Club's Nate
Hollerbach, followed by defending champion Brian Angel from King Harbor
Yacht Club and Southern Yacht Club's Benz Faget. Each of these three
teams have both won three quarters of their matches so are evenly
matched.
Tomorrow's finals should make for exciting racing.
