Day 2 – Thursday, September 23, 2004

The winds abated on Tampa Bay as the second day of the U.S. Match Race Championship, sponsored by Rolex, concluded the round robin 1.  Eight teams moved on to the next round robin.  The first round robin was completed in dying winds.  The afternoon saw the fleet on the beach as the wind had completely shut down.
